Notex
Local-first Markdown notes, organized your way.
Write fast memos, build structured notes and databases, and see dated work in a clear monthly calendar. Your workspace remains a folder of ordinary Markdown files that other editors, command-line tools, Git, and AI tools can read.
Notes that stay portable
- Rich Markdown editing with headings, lists, tasks, quotes, code, tables, images, audio, and attachments
- Nested pages, search, backlinks, favorites, tags, covers, and a recoverable trash
- Structured databases with table, board, list, and calendar views
Choose how you sync
Keep a workspace on the device, use iCloud Drive across your Apple devices, or connect securely to a NoteX workspace you operate. Notex does not require a developer account to write local notes.
Calendar and dictation
Turn dated notes and database rows into a monthly plan. Dictate with Apple speech recognition, or optionally configure your own Doubao credentials.
