App Overview
PastDue is one simple place for the things that quietly slip past you — rent and utility bills, streaming subscriptions, debts you've lent or owe, and the food sitting in your fridge. Add an item with a due date, get a gentle reminder, and stay on top of it without the spreadsheets.
Key Features
- Track bills, debts, subscriptions, and food expiry in one place
- Overdue, due today, and due soon — visible at a glance
- Local reminders 2 days before, 1 day before, or on the day, at the time you pick
- Smart Extract: snap a photo or paste text and let on-device intelligence pre-fill the form (iOS 26 and later)
- Custom categories with your own icons and colors
- Search and filter by status or category
- Statistics view for spending and activity patterns
- 30+ world currencies
- Works fully offline — your data stays on your device
Requirements
- iOS 16 or later
- Smart Extract requires iOS 26 or later and a device that supports Apple Intelligence
- Notifications must be allowed for reminders to be delivered
Troubleshooting
- Reminders aren't arriving: Open Settings › Notifications › PastDue and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check that a Focus mode or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them. In the app, go to Settings and confirm "Push reminders" is on and your reminder time is set.
- Wrong reminder time: The reminder time set in the app is used for items without a specific time. Items with a time use that time instead.
- Smart Extract isn't available: Smart Extract uses Apple's on-device intelligence and requires iOS 26 or later on a supported device. You can still add tasks manually on any supported iOS version.
- Smart Extract filled the wrong values: Always review the suggested title, amount, and due date before saving. Tap any field to edit it.
- Camera or photo library not working: Open Settings › PastDue and allow Camera or Photos access.
- Currency symbol looks wrong: Open the in-app Settings and pick your preferred currency from the list.
- I deleted an item by mistake: Items deleted from the list cannot be recovered, since data is stored locally. Completed items can be re-opened from the task detail view.
- I want my sample data back: In a debug build, use "Reset sample data" in Settings. Release builds start empty by design.
