By downloading or using PastDue, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
PastDue helps you keep track of bills, subscriptions, debts, and food expiry dates. The app stores your tasks locally on your device, sends optional local reminders for upcoming due dates, and offers an optional Smart Extract feature that uses on-device intelligence to pre-fill a new task from a photo or pasted text.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use PastDue on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store rules.
You are responsible for the tasks, amounts, dates, notes, and photos you enter into PastDue. Because this data is stored locally on your device, we recommend keeping a separate backup (for example via iCloud device backup) for anything important.
Reminders are delivered as local notifications by iOS. Delivery depends on your notification permissions, focus modes, and device state. PastDue does not guarantee delivery of any specific reminder and should not be relied upon as the sole means of meeting a payment or other deadline.
Smart Extract uses on-device intelligence to read text from a photo or pasted text and suggest values for a new task. Extracted values may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the values before saving.
PastDue is a personal organization tool. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and obligations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PastDue and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app, including but not limited to missed payments, late fees, or food waste.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if you violate these terms or if required by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version.
