Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't nomo connecting to my Notion account?
Make sure you complete the full OAuth authorization flow in Safari. If the connection fails:
1. Go to Settings → Disconnect Notion, then try connecting again.
2. Check that you have an active internet connection.
3. In your Notion account under Settings → My connections, remove nomo and re-authorize.
If the issue persists, please email us with your iOS version and a description of where the flow stops.
My Notion database isn't showing up in the database picker.
nomo only displays databases that have at least one Date property. If your database isn't listed:
• Make sure the database has a property of type Date (not a formula or rollup that produces a date).
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Notion account to refresh the list.
• Ensure you granted nomo access to the correct Notion workspace during authorization.
How do I add a new entry to my calendar?
Tap any day on the calendar to create a new page in your selected Notion database. A quick-entry form will appear where you can set the title and any other properties. The new page is saved to Notion instantly.
How does drag-and-drop rescheduling work?
Long-press any calendar entry to lift it, then drag it to a new date and release. nomo updates the Date property of the corresponding Notion page immediately. You should see the change reflected in Notion within seconds.
If the sync fails (e.g., due to a lost connection), nomo will show an error. The entry will snap back to its original date — simply try again once your connection is restored.
Can I display more than one Notion database at the same time?
Yes. In the app settings, you can add multiple databases and assign each one a different color. All entries appear together in one unified calendar view, color-coded by their source database.
A change I made in nomo isn't showing in Notion (or vice versa).
Pull down on the calendar to manually refresh. nomo fetches the latest data from Notion on launch and on pull-to-refresh. Changes made in nomo are synced immediately, but Notion's own app may take a moment to reflect them. If sync issues persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Notion account.
Is my Notion data stored on your servers?
No. nomo fetches your Notion data directly from the Notion API and displays it on your device. We do not operate backend servers that store your Notion content.
Your Notion OAuth token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device and is never transmitted to us. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I disconnect my Notion account?
Go to Settings → Disconnect Notion inside the app. This removes the stored OAuth token from your device. To fully revoke access, also visit your Notion account under Settings → My connections and remove nomo from there.
Does nomo work with Notion's free plan?
Yes. nomo works with any Notion account — free or paid — as long as you have at least one database with a Date property.
