By downloading or using RemoteTimer, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
RemoteTimer lets you create and run named timers on your iPhone and iPad, view live running and waiting time, and control a timer remotely from a paired Apple Watch or another nearby device. Remote commands (Start, Resume, End) are sent directly between your devices over the local network and WatchConnectivity. The app also offers Picture-in-Picture to keep a timer visible while you use other apps. All timer data is stored locally on your device.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use RemoteTimer on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store rules.
You are responsible for the timers, names, tags, and notes you enter into RemoteTimer. Because this data is stored locally on your device, we recommend keeping a separate backup (for example via iCloud device backup) for anything important.
Remote control depends on a working local network or Bluetooth connection between your devices and on WatchConnectivity for Apple Watch. RemoteTimer does not guarantee that any specific command will be delivered, and connectivity may be affected by range, network conditions, focus modes, or device state. Do not rely on remote control as the sole means of meeting a time-critical obligation.
Picture-in-Picture keeps a timer visible and updating while the app is in the background, subject to iOS limits and available system resources. iOS may pause or end background activity at any time.
RemoteTimer is a personal productivity tool and does not provide professional advice of any kind. You are solely responsible for how you use the timers and any decisions based on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemoteTimer and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app, including but not limited to missed intervals, undelivered commands, or lost data.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if you violate these terms or if required by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version.
