Process Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-17
Process helps you turn long-term goals into daily progress by tracking goals, milestones, check-ins, and streaks. We designed Process to work without an account and to keep your data on your device or in your personal iCloud.
Data We Collect
Process minimizes data collection. The goals, milestones, check-ins, categories, and settings you create are stored on your device.
- On-Device Data: Goals (name, category, target, due date, notes), milestones (title, date, status, notes), check-in entries (date, delta, mode, notes), categories (name, colors), and app settings are saved locally on your device using iOS storage.
- iCloud Sync (optional): If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your goals and check-ins are stored in your personal iCloud container so they can be shared across your own devices. We do not have access to that container.
- Diagnostics (optional): If you choose to contact support, you may share details in your email. We only use this information to respond to your request.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not create user accounts.
- We do not collect names, emails (unless you contact support), or phone numbers.
- We do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or ad-targeting SDK.
Permissions
- Notifications: Optional. Used to deliver local reminders for daily check-ins, upcoming milestones, and approaching deadlines at the time you choose. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
- Photo Library (Add Only): Optional. Used only when you tap "Share Achievement" to save a celebration card to your photo library.
- iCloud: Optional. Used only if you enable iCloud sync, so your goals stay in sync across your own Apple devices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share your goals or check-ins with anyone. Process does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your goals and settings remain on your device (and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud) until you delete them in the app or uninstall Process. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. iCloud-synced data can be removed from iOS Settings › your Apple ID › iCloud › Manage Storage.
Children's Privacy
Process is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
