OneBox Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-09

OneBox is a keyboard-first launcher and toolbox for the Mac. We designed OneBox to work without an account and to keep your data on your device.

Data We Collect

OneBox minimizes data collection. Everything you create or configure stays on your Mac.

Data We Do Not Collect

Permissions

Network Use

OneBox connects to the internet only to carry out actions you start — for example opening a web search or a bookmark in your browser. It does not upload your queries, clipboard, snippets, or screenshots to us or to any third party.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share your content with anyone. OneBox does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your settings, snippets, clipboard history, and other content remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall OneBox. Removing the app deletes its local data.

Children's Privacy

OneBox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date.
